It's your life's work, value it.

Our Road to Exit Seminar Series are a breakfast workshop series designed to help business owners prepare for a sale or to raise equity investment. During these workshops, business owners will get an insight into what the current UK M&A market environment is like, what to expect from the process and how ultimately to get the right result for you and your business.

Selling your business or finding the right equity partner can be a daunting prospect, but one which when properly prepared for and advised on, can propel you and your business to the next level. KPMG’s M&A team are experts in advising business owners to identify the right exit strategy and work to build on key value drivers to maximise value. We apply critical tradecraft developed through being the most active mid-market M&A practice in the UK, having advised on another 90 successful deals in 2018 alone.

Even if exit planning is not currently on your current agenda, our Road to Exit Seminar Series have been designed to help you understand the tools that can unlock and maximise value in the future.

Experienced CEOs & Private Equity Investors will share their experiences

As well as hearing from our highly experience M&A team, we are partnering with Chief Executives and Managing Directors who have been through hugely successful exits or equity investment processes and will share their invaluable insights, in addition to the Private Equity Funds that backed them.

The four workshops are:

1) Routes to Exit: The Current Environment – 14th November 2018
Workshop Partners: Matt Hirst, award winning CEO of Utiligroup which was sold to ESG in 2017, and Jon Pickering, Head of Manchester at NorthEdge Capital, the former PE investors in Utiligroup.
2) Demystifying Private Equity – 16 January 2019
Workshop Partners: Phil Foster, CEO of Love Energy Savings, which recently received £25 million of investment from Lloyds Development Capital (LDC), led by Rich Ibbett, Investment Director at LDC.
3) Maximising Your Company’s Value: It’s your life’s work, value it! – 3rd April 2019
Workshop partners to be announced.
4) Making it Happen: Avoiding Common Pitfalls – 10th July 2019
Workshop partners to be announced.

Over the last 12 months market conditions have been favourable to the seller and prices higher than I can remember. Even if you are not ready to exit, there are many reasons you should not delay maximising your company’s value.
