Making It Happen: Avoiding Common Pitfalls

Following on from our first two seminar sessions, we will turn our focus on to how to avoid common pitfalls in the preparation, execution and completion of a deal.

We continue to see companies who under-prepare in advance of a transaction, leaving value on the table or opening themselves up to “price chips”. It can often be difficult to generate an optimal offer for the business where there has been inadequate preparation - therefore being proactive is the most defensive tactic to maximise value. Thinking about the potential financial, commercial and legal issues early helps put you on the front foot throughout the process.

Our M&A experts, Rod Wilkinson and Michael Downes will be joined by Katherine Hay-Heddle, Ward Hadaway to discuss their deal experience, common pitfalls and navigate the legal journey. Our speakers have extensive experience in advising business owners, family businesses, management teams and Investors on their ‘Road To Exit.’ We will also be joined by a guest speaker for additional insight and Q&A.
